Commissioner dies in Ebonyi

The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Infrastructure Development Engr. Fidelis Nweze is dead.

Late Nweze died in a hospital in Abuja due to injuries he sustained in an auto crash earlier in the week.

Governor David Umahi confirmed his death to reporters on Tuesday, 22 June, 2021 in Abakaliki, capital of the state.

Nweze was Commissioner for Works in the first tenure of Governor Umahi between 2015 and 2019.

Nweze is reputed to be the man behind the many infrastructure development recorded in Ebonyi State in the last six years.

He was a strong ally of Governor Umahi.
