#EndSARS: Falz, Runtown leads Lagos protest

A protest clamouring for the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), held after the arrival of popular entertainer, Folarin Falana (Falz) and Runtown.
The protest was earlier dispersed by the police when some of the protesters gathered at the venue, Lekki Toll gate, opposite Oriental Hotel, around 9:15am.
It was reported that while dispersing the protest, the policemen allegedly assaulted some of the protesters.
In the morning, on an Instagram live chat, Falz said, “No backing down. We move. The police are already there, waiting for us but we are not here to cause trouble.”
On the arrival of Falz and Runtown, the protest held with both of them urging the protesters not to be violent.
The protesters had earlier announced that the protest would be held across Lagos for three days to protest against the brutality and extortion by men of the SARS unit.
