Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency, LNSA, has suspended two officers complicit in the unlawful treatment of Uber driver, Adedotun Clement, during the End SARS protest.

LNSC personnel and police officers had manhandled Clement on Wednesday despite identifying himself.

DailyPost reports that the operatives and supervising officers went through an orderly room trial after they were charged with disreputable conduct

Their action was contempt of the rules contained in the LNSA Handbook Articles E (ii) & (iii), O (iv) and N (x).

The two officers directly involved in the assault were de-kitted and suspended for 2 months.

They will be redeployed to another command of the agency for behavioural evaluation and further reprimand.

Their Commanding Superintendents and the Divisional Commander were suspended for one month; the deputies are to take charge until further notice.

LSNA General Manager, Ifalade Oyekan apologized to Clement and restated the Lagos government’s commitment to secure lives and properties.
