#ENDSARS: We are working on charging Buhari to ICC – Ex-Presidential aide

By Joseph Ayinde

Reno Omokri, a former aide of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, says the International Criminal Court (ICC) will be approached for “justice” with regard to President Muhammadu Buhari whom he accused of killing peaceful #EndSARS protesters.

The 20th of October is now a day set aside for #EndSARSMemorial, an event to remember the massacre of #ENDSARS protesters by Soldiers at the Lekki Toll gate in 2020.

However, today, Several Nigerian youths stormed the toll gate to remember their lost comrades. POLITICS NIGERIA can authoritatively report  that a few demonstrators have already been arrested by security operatives stationed at Tollgate. Omokri criticised the development.

“I remind Buhari and Buratai that they will not be in power forever. When they leave office, we will continue to press for the International Criminal Court to bring both these criminals to justice! They must pay for the #LekkiMassacre of peaceful #EndSARS protesters,” Omokri, a staunch critic of the present administration wrote on his verified Twitter handle.

Buhari’s tenure as president of Nigeria expires May 29, 2023.
