How Tanker explosion killed one and injured many others in Abeokuta

Details have emerged as to what led to the explossion at kuto area of Abeokuta earlier today.

According to reports, a fuel-laden tanker which was coming from Sagamu-Siun-Oke-Mosan Road had developed a brake failure and as a result while descending from the Kuto over-head bridge, the driver lost control of the vehicle.

It then rammed into scores of cars before it eventually exploded. It reportedly affected many offices in the area including that of the Guaranty Trust Bank.

One person was confirmed dead on the spot, while several other injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
