Ivorian digital creator and entrepreneur Awa Fanny is preparing to launch a new business after building a professional career through content creation and brand collaborations.

Fanny, who is popularly known online as Fanny Roki Awa, began her professional career in 2022 after initially joining TikTok in 2021 for entertainment.

Her transition into professional content creation developed between 2022 and 2023, when audiences began reaching out to express their appreciation for her videos and brands began showing interest in working with her.

The creator said the experience changed her understanding of social media and its potential to create income-generating opportunities.

“At first I thought it will eventually stop but I noticed the more you show up the more your visibility gives you a reason to earn,” she said.

Fanny has since collaborated with KA Cosmetics, beginning in 2022, and Hollantex, with whom she began a one-year collaboration in March 2026.

She now intends to expand her activities into entrepreneurship through a business she plans to launch soon.

“I will start a business soon but I want it to be a surprise so everyone can see how hardworking I am,” Fanny said.

She has not disclosed the nature of the planned business.

Alongside her business plans, Fanny said she is also working towards continuing her education. She received a Franco-Arabic education and attended school up to Grade 5 (CM2). She did not attend secondary school or a higher institution and currently does not hold an academic qualification.

According to Fanny, enrolling in further education is part of her plans for the near future.

Her professional journey has taken place against the background of a family-focused upbringing. Born in Man, Côte d’Ivoire, on October 16, 2002, Fanny grew up in Port-Bouët with her paternal grandparents.

She credits them with helping shape her character and remains grateful for their care.

Fanny also comes from two large families and has several brothers and sisters. She said the siblings share a close relationship and praised her parents for their role in raising them.

She currently lives in Abobo, Abidjan, and continues to work as a digital creator and entrepreneur.

Fanny identifies Kevine Chambala as the public figure who has inspired her career, citing the person’s influence both on set and in person.

As she looks ahead, Fanny is focused on developing her professional activities, pursuing further education and preparing to reveal the business venture she has been working on.
