House of Reps member, Nse Ekpeyoung dies at 58
A member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Oron/Mbo/Okobo/Udung Uko/Urue Offong/Oruko Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom, Nse Ekpenyong, has reportedly died at the age of 58.
His death was confirmed on Monday by his aide.
The circumstances surrounding the death of the lawmaker, who gave up the ghost on Saturday is still unclear.
Ekpenyong, who was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party was also the state deputy chairman of the party before his demise.
He was a former member of the Akwa Ibom state house of assembly.
In 2017, he was arraigned at the Federal High Court, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations of certificate forgery.
