 Anambra Decides 2021: Prof. Soludo takes the lead

Professor Charles Soludo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra election is in early lead having won six Local Government Areas in the Southeast state.

According to election results declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Soludo emerged victorious in Njikoka, Orumba South, Anaocha, Awka South, Onitsha South and Enugu Anambra East.

Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are currently trailing the APGA’s candidate, while many of the remaining 15 candidates on the ballot are not showing any threat.

Anambra has 21 LGAs and results from 15 LGAs are still being awaited amid a continuation of the voting exercise today in areas where hitches were experienced Saturday
