Italy won the Euro 2020 after an intriguing penalty shootout against England.
Italy regarded as the dark horse of the competition emerged victorious against England in Wembley. England took the early lead through Luke Shaw, however, Italy remained relentless in their search for an equalizer, and it finally came through Chiellini.
The match could not be settled in normal time, so it had to go on to extra time and eventually penalties. The penalty shootout eventually ended 3:2 in favour of Italy with Bukayo Saka missing the last penalty.
