Lagos LG Elections: PDP to flag off campaign this week

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is ready to flag off a massive campaign for the forthcoming local government elections this week after concluding its ward to ward visitation campaign in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government LGA.

The party stated that it has made a familiarisation campaign visit to all the wards in Oshodi-Isolo while strictly adhering to the campaign guidelines by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) to embark on a massive campaign ahead of the election next month.

According to the PDP chairmanship candidate in Oshodi-Isolo LG, Comr. Akinyibi Ridwan, the party has resolved its major problem being the internal crisis between former and present state leaders.

He said the crisis between the present PDP State Chairman, Engr. Adedeji Dorothy and the former State Chairman, Dr Adegbola Dominic gave the party a little setback but it has been resolved amicably and the house is now moving on, with one voice.

He said the party chairman in Oshodi-Isolo, Hon. Sunday Olaifa has properly instructed the members on how to hold the campaigns in each location across the local council area.
