Leicester City defeats Chelsea to win the FA Cup Final

Leicester City defeated Chelsea by one goal to nill to lift the FA Cup for the first time in their history.

Chelsea came into this match with high hopes of lifting their first silverware of the season, however, it was Leicester City that came out on top as they ended Chelsea’s FA Cup dreams for this season.

The match had a goalless first half, with Chelsea largely dominating proceedings, however the match turned in favour of Leicester City when Tielemans scored a stunning goal. Chelsea pushed for an equalizer and nearly got it, but Mount’s shot was saved by Schmeichel.

Chelsea finally scored what looked to be the equalizer, but their joy was shortlived as the goal was ruled out by VAR for offside.

This FA Cup final defeat means that Chelsea has now lost back to back FA Cup final, Chelsea would hope to still clinch silverware this season when they face Manchester City in the Champions League final in two weeks.
