Leicester City beat Manchester City 1:0 to clinch the community shield trophy.
A late penalty by Kelechi Iheanacho sealed the trophy for Leicester City, as Pep Guardiola’s sid failed to produce a last gasp equalizer to bring the match level.
The FA Cup winners have started the new season in a strong fashion, however, Manchester City will be hoping that this match doesn’t affect their confidence going into the new season which starts in a week time.
