LG Polls: Incumbent Chairman Withdraws For His Deputy

The Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area, Alhaji Fathi Salisu has withdrawn from the local government election race.
The incumbent chairman who had collected the nomination form and was successful during the screening exercise, withdrew early Saturday, 29 May, 2021 before the commencement of the primaries.
Salisu we exclusively learnt withdrew for his Vice, Hajia Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, an alumnus of the Lagos State University to continue the race.
Motunrayo is the daughter of the late APC Woman Leader for Lagos East Senatorial District and first Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Mrs Fausat Gbadebo.
