Manchester United mount comeback to beat Atalanta 3:2

In an exhilarating Champions League group stage encounter, Manchester United came from two goals down to beat Atalanta 3:2.

Atalanta took the lead early in the first half through Pasalic, Demiral doubled Atalanta’s lead through a goal from a corner. Manchester United pushed for a goal to half the deficit in the closing stages of the first half, and Marcus Rashford missed a good chance to pull one back right before halftime.

Manchester United kept pushing for a goal in the second half, and they eventually scored through a Rashford goal following a beautifully weighted pass by Bruno Fernandes. Maguire scored to put Manchester United on level terms with Atalanta.

Manchester United ramped up pressure for the winner, and eventually got it through a Ronaldo header late in the game. Under fire manager, Ole would be delighted with the win as it would ease Manchester the pressure on him following poor results from the club.

Manchester United face Liverpool next in the Premier League on Sunday.
