 GOS, Obanikoro, other new members set for first GAC meeting as members expect Tunubu in attendance

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is being expected in Lagos today, Sunday, 23 October, 2022 to attend the meeting of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).

Reliable sources insisted he is being expected to attend the meeting which will probably be his last before commencing the rigorous task of campaigning for his election as President of the country.

The Presidential election and those for the National Assembly, take place same day, Saturday, 25 February, 2023.

According to information, the APC Presidential Flag-bearer is expected to address members of the GAC, the highest decision-making body in the state and discuss further his programmes for the people.

Recently, six additional members were announced to be part of the group.

They are: the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire; former Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro; former Senate Minority Whip, Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon (GOS); former Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Chief Ademola Seriki; former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Princess Sarah Adebisi Sosan; and former Head of Service in the state, Chief Sunny Ajose.

They are all expected to make their maiden appearance at the meeting, today, Sunday, 23 October, 2022.
