 Awa lo kan in Britain: Nigerian Girl eyes British Prime Minister seat

Lagos girl, Olukemi Olufunto Badenoch is one of the contenders vying to become the next Prime Minister in Britain.

Badenoch was one of the Ministers who resigned to protest the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson’s bad conduct and has now thrown her hat into the ring to replace him.

Kemi’s father was practicing as a Doctor in London while her mother was a University professor at the time she was born in 1980.

They took her back to Nigeria where studied at the International School, Unilag, before returning to the UK at age 16.

She had degrees in Computer Systems Engineering and Law and worked in the Banking sector before going into politics.

She got married in 2012 and has since had two children.
