NBC directs Broadcast Stations to deactivate Twitter accounts

The National Broadcast Commission, NBC, has directed all broadcast media houses in the country to deactivate their Twitter accounts following the suspension of the microblogging platform by the Federal Government.

NBC in a memo on Sunday also directed all broadcast stations in the country to desist from using the platform as a source of information gathering for News and programmes presentation.
