New Oshodi Iyaloja General, Adeyanju receives certificate of office

The newly installed Oshodi Iyaloja General, Alhaja Sikirat Ejide Adeyanju, has, on Wednesday, received certificate of office.

The Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, who presented the certificate charged the new Iyaloja General to be up and doing.

Ariyoh commended the Iyaloja General of Lagos and Nigeria, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu Ojo for approving the recommendation of Alhaja Sikirat Ejide Adeyanju as Iyaloja General of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government.

He also urged the new Iyaloja General to keep up the unmatched qualities and leadership traits that have endeared her to all and sundry in the community.

“At the local government, we have always appreciated your unflinching support to peaceful co-existence between the market association and the local government. We are sure that your reign would continue to bring development and peace among the market’s associations in this local government.

“The certificate of office that is presented to you is to affirm your authority and position as Iyaloja general Oshodi-Isolo local government having been installed by the Iyaloja General of Lagos and Nigeria,” he said.

Responding, Alhaja Adeyanju appreciated members of Oshodi-Isolo council and the residents as she assured them of her commitment to the development of Oshodi-Isolo local government in general.

She also promised to ensure peace, tranquillity and uphold government regulations on markets in Lagos State.
