 Ogun NUJ Chairman, Amosu, is dead

Chairman of the Ogun State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Soji Amosu, is dead.

Amosu who became the chairman about five months ago after a lingering legal battle, reportedly died during an ailment that had kept him bedridden for about a month.

A High Court in Ibadan, Oyo State had ruled in the favour of his faction in the leadership tussle, leaving the other aggrieved faction to head to the Court of Appeal.

Members of the NUJ, Ogun State, have variously expressed shock on the sudden death.
