The lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Idimogu, while commenting on the frequent complains of marginalisation by the Igbo in the Nigerian politics, said for the Ndigbos to be guaranteed presidential sot, they must join All Progressives Congress (APC) as the only party that can make them realise their dream.

The lawmaker maintained that only APC has the structure for the Ndigbos to attain presidential position as it gives relevance to all tribes, saying they would be wasting their time and continue complaining of maginalisation if they remain in other parties.

Idimogu said this when he visited the Eze Nwajiofor Okoli, Eze Ndigbo of Ajeromi-Ifelodun on Wednesday to solicit support of the royal father having taken up the new role of apex leader of Igbo in Lagos APC.

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cannot give Ndigbo the presidency. They need to embrace APC to be relevant politically. We cannot continue to complain of marginalisation and remain in opposition. We must join the ruling part en masse and anytime it is our turn to produce the president, we would be in a good position to do that,” he said.

Eze Okoli, while appreciating Idimogu, said that he was convinced that with the legislator as apex leader of Ndigbo in the state and with the exemplary leadership quality for which the he was known, the ruling party would be sure of their support in the next general elections.
