 Oshodi-Isolo LG Election: I’m ready to accept primary election result – Kendoo

One of the leading aspirants for the chairmanship of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede, has said he is readiness to accept the result of the primary election scheduled to be conducted by his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) for all aspirants on May 29.

Oloyede, popularly called Kendoo, said he is in support of democratic process and will always prefer such to play in the electioneering, saying he is sure of victory at polls.

Oloyede made the declaration as he obtained his nomination form on Tuesday from the state Secretariat of the party, commending the peaceful process of selling the forms by the party as he promised to abide by the outcome of the primary election.

He reiterated the importance of the party in electioneering.

“I am in total support of democratic process of electing candidates and I have promised and am still promising that I will accept the verdict of our teaming party members wholeheartedly on 29th of May and I am sure we shall be victorious but, we shall be magnanimous in victory.”

Oloyede emphasised that he is in the race to win the primary of his party as well as the main election.

His words: “I have come to pick the nomination form for the contest from our party. I am happy with the peaceful conduct so far. I am very confident of winning the primary election and the eventual contest. We are running a robust and all inclusive campaign and we are in touch with the real electorate in our domain. We are not strangers in Oshodi and we know the real voters.

“Secondly, we have feasible means of income, which means we have second address unlike others whose only source of livelihood is politics.

Kendoo, as popularly called by his admirers, promised to run an all inclusive government that will focus on the elders and the youths.

He, however, appealed to his teeming supporters not to run down any aspirant as they all belong to the same political family and that they will still be useful to him during the general election.
