The Ebute Metta Progressive Club has presented a meritorious award to a leading light in the media circle, Mr Lawrence Rotimi Oladotun, for his outstanding support towards Ebute Metta community development projects and the success of its End-of-Year Party, describing his contribution as pivotal to the event’s success.
In the letter dated March 30, 2026, and signed by the Chairman of the Organising Party Committee, Hafis Toyin, the club noted that Oladotun’s generosity and goodwill played a significant role in making the celebration memorable for members and guests.
According to the club, his support helped promote unity, joy, and togetherness, values that align with its core objectives and mission within the Ebute Metta community.
The association also acknowledged his continued commitment to community development, stating that his gesture had not gone unnoticed among members.

Oladotun, who grew up in the Ebute Metta suburb, was accompanied to the event by friends and associates, including Chief Sefiu Adebayo Mufutau and Babatunde Azeez Oloye 1.
