 Amotekun arrests four High school students for raping girls in Ogun state

Operatives of the Amotekun security outfit have arrested four secondary school students for rape and cult-related activities in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The Amotekun Commander in the state, Akinremi David, in a statement, said the suspects were members of a notorious cult group known as Ajagbe Youngest Nation (AYN).

Mr Akinremi explained that the suspects, who were between the ages of 17 and 20, were arrested last weekend following a distress call received by the Ikenne Command of the agency that a cult group was terrorising and disturbing the peace of Ajagbe High School, Iperu Remo.

According to him, the group, comprising of current and ex-students of Ajagbe High School, was involved in raping of girls in the area.

He noted that consequent upon the distress call, Amotekun operatives busted their hideout during their weekly meeting and arrested Oregbesan Idris, (17) and Abdul Toheeb (19).

He said their confession during interrogation led to the arrest of Esan Kazeem (20) and Saka Sultan (17).
