Re-elect my husband, I want to enjoy Nigeria in old age

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, saying she wants to enjoy a better Nigeria in her old age.

Remi Tinubu made the appeal during her visit to Imo State, where she addressed Catholic mothers and called for prayers and support for her husband.

She said Nigerians should support the President’s administration, adding that she would continue working for the country.

“Make una pray for Mr President abeg, but we go work for una and Nigeria go better. I want to enjoy Nigeria in old age, so I will work for Nigeria, for my old age,” she said.

The First Lady also spoke about efforts to empower women, saying the government would continue supporting initiatives aimed at improving their livelihoods.

Her appeal comes as political activities ahead of the 2027 presidential election intensify, with President Tinubu seeking a second term.
