By Dayo Badmus

The Lagos State Government has declared a partial closure of the service path inbound Maryland from the finish of Gani Fawehinmi Park to the furthest limit of the subsequent pedestrian bridge, Ojota for about a month and a half, beginning from today, Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

The assertion endorsed by the State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, on Monday, expressed that the partial closure is to permit the contractual worker taking care of the stretch of the venture from Ojota to Maryland to proceed with the following period of the construction, which incorporates the reconstruction of the Ikorodu street.

Because of this new plan, drivers coming from Ikeja pivot are encouraged to go through 7 street through Billings approach to interface Oregun/Kudirat Abiola Way inbound Ikorodu street by Ojota bus stop.

Oladeinde clarified that traffic internal Ojota Bus stop/Maryland from the Ibadan – Lagos Expressway could either continue to Oworonshoki/Gbagada or slip the circle by Abiola Garden inbound Ketu.

He added that they could climb the circle back to the Lagos- Ibadan Expressway through the circle adjacent to LAMATA Office to get to Ikorodu street to Ojota.

Additionally, the official guaranteed that satisfactory street signs have been given to direct drivers development
