Sanwo-Olu inaugurates Governing Councils of LASU, LASPOTECH others

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the governing councils of all Lagos State owned Higher Institutions of learning.
The Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) and Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) had all their governing councils inaugurated.
According to the Governor, distinguished Nigerians were selected as members of the Councils.
“I have no doubt that we have chosen wisely with the calibre of people we picked.
“The appointment comes with huge responsibilities that must be discharged with integrity, foresight and dedication.”
He said Tertiary institutions are critical in nurturing individuals to become innovators and wealth creators who will contribute to accelerate the growth of the economy.
“Our goal is to turn our schools around to become models of excellence in the delivery of high-quality education.”
