Sanwo-Olu meets Lagos security chiefs ahead of Yuletide
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday met with security chiefs in the state to review security operations and plans ahead of the end-of-year activities.
The meeting was held at the State House, Marina, as Lagos prepares for increased movement and activities during the Yuletide season.
Sanwo-Olu was briefed on ongoing security operations and measures being taken to strengthen security across the state.
The governor assured residents and visitors that the state government would continue to take steps to prevent criminal activities and protect lives and property.
“We will not relent on our efforts to ensure that criminals don’t find a place for their evil activities in our state,” Sanwo-Olu said.
The meeting also came ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s visit to Lagos and the expected influx of visitors during the festive period.
According to the state government, the period is expected to feature several religious, cultural and political activities across Lagos.
