 Budweiser Game of Kings: Roberto Carlos’s Smooth FC defeats John Terry’s Kings FC

Smooth FC of the Budweiser defeated the King’s FC at the Mobolaji Sport Arena, Onikan, Lagos state on Saturday. Former Chelsea and England defender, John Terry and former Real Madrid and Brazil left-back, Roberto Carlos locked horns in a novelty match tagged “Budweiser Game Of Kings”, organised by Budweiser, an International brewery company.

Filled with action and thrilling performances, the match failed to produce an outright winner as both side failed to find the back of the next.

The game however ended in a penalty shootout with Team Smooth FC captained by Roberto emerging winner after scoring four times to defeat team Kings FC, captained by Terry who scored twice in the penalty shootout.

The match also saw thrilling performances from Nigerians musicians like: Teni, Patoranking, Mayorkun, Ycee among others.

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick was also present at the stadium to witness the match.

Terry and Roberto arrived Murtala Muhammed International airport, Lagos, on Thursday, ahead of the novelty match.
