Tension in Delta community as gunmen shoot three persons dead

Unknown gunmen, Wednesday night, shot dead three persons in Ubeji Community of Delta State, Daily Post reported.
The deceased, who were shot at close range, died on the spot.
According to the online medium, the incident occurred at about 9pm at the boundary between Ubeji and Egbokodo communities.
The correspondent, who visited the area, reported that the incident may be connected with cult related issues in the area.
When contacted for comments on Thursday morning, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the report.
She said, “It’s true. I have heard it.”
