Tinubu successfully screened by APC ahead of party primaries

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has been screened by the ruling party, ahead of the June 6 and 7 presidential primary of the party.

Asiwaju, a leading presidential aspirant was screened on Monday evening by the Chief John Odigie-Oyegun led APC Presidential Screening Committee at the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja.

Tinubu was accompanied to the screening venue by Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde and a chieftain of Tinubu Support Group and member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, among others.

Hundreds of supporters and associates from different parts of the country, also accompanied the first Lagos State governor in the present Fourth Republic, to Transcop Hotels.

Other presidential aspirants screened on Monday by the Odigie-Oyegun led screening committee are Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, former Senate President, Ken Nnamani; former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Senate Deputy Majority Leader, Senator Ajayi Borroffice and Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Nigeria, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

Others are former Governor of Zamfara State, Sani Yarima, Dr. Nicholas Felix and the only female aspirant, Uju Ohanaenye.
