Engineer Joe Igbokwe has narrated how presidential hopeful, Bola Tinubu helped a young man get a loan of N50 million to start toothpick making by standing as the guarantor

In the shared story on Facebook, the story emanated from Senator Gbenga Ashafa, saying that a young man that wanted to produce made in Nigeria toothpick was prevented from seeing Tinubu for several months but the young did not give up on his dream, he continued to look for ways to meet Tinubu.

One day Tinubu asked that they bring the young man to him after seeing him consistently on the CCTV for several months. When the young man finally met Tinubu he showed him two different types of toothpick, the first sample was produced by the young Nigerian and the second was produced in the UK, Umar noted that the toothpick produced in the UK was inferior to the one the man produced, so Tinubu asked his men to follow the young man to his mini production factory to verify the man’s claim, after the verification was completed, Umar said that Tinubu called one bank manager and gave instruction that the young man should be given a loan of N50 million and Tinubu stood as the young man’s guarantor.
