Misappropriation of Funds: IBEJU-LEKKI Tricycle Association in crisis

All is currently not well with the Executive Council of Ibeju-Lekki, Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association of Lagos (TODAL).

The Chairman, Mr. Ismaila Adeleke is allegedly runing affairs of the association like a personal property.

According to reports, after the previous  misappropriation of over ₦2million and marginalization of members last year, which led to his suspension and eventual removal from office, Adeleke and his close ally and Secretary of the branch, Mr. Rahman Sansaliu, haa milked the branch dry.

Adeleke was said to have created the office of Special Adviser and Personal Assistant to the Chairman. This was a move considered contrary to the laid down rules and regulations of the union.

Also, members of the association have called on union and political leaders to investigate and finding a lasting solution.
