Tunde Bakare urges EFCC to go after aspirants

Sensing that his chance of winning the APC primary election was slim, Pastor Tunde Bakare of The Citadel Global Community Church, had threatened that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will go after some of the aspirants that contested in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary.

He said this while giving his speech before the commencement of the party’s presidential primary election in Abuja on Tuesday night.

“Many of these contestants, time will tell. The EFCC will soon be after them,” Bakare said.

Bakare also accused some of the contestants of “bringing delegates with delegates”.

He clarified that all he did was campaign via bulk SMS and expressed his confidence he will emerge the 16th president of Nigeria.

This came after he vowed not to join others in stepping down for the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, even though he respects him and any other presidential aspirants of the party.

He said he won’t step down for any aspirant, but he is stepping up to emerge as the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
