We will continue to bring govt closer to the people — Lagos State Assembly

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, promised Lagosians that the Assembly would not fail in its duty to bring government closer to the people.
The Speaker promised this while discussing the achievements of the Assembly at a constituency stakeholders’ meeting on Thursday.
Obasa, who represents Agege Constituency 1, commended Lagosians for their determination to overcome financial and economic difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He also praised the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his swift response to stemming the pandemic.
He added: “The House approved N20 billion COVID-19 Intervention Fund aimed at containing and managing the spread of the virus as well as mitigating its effect on Lagosians.”
