Why I Prefer a 9–5, Low-Key Man with No Social Media — DJ Cuppy
Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her evolving preferences in relationships, revealing that she now favours a low-profile partner.
Speaking during an appearance on The Zeze Millz Show, Cuppy said her experiences dating different kinds of men have shaped her current outlook.
“I have dated all kinds of men, a lot of different types of men, and what I find out is working for me now is the 9–5, no social media, super low-key guy that doesn’t really care,” she said.
When asked how she meets such partners, the DJ disclosed that she uses dating apps, noting that openness is key when it comes to relationships.
“You have to be open-minded,” she added.
Cuppy went on to share some of her past dating experiences, emphasising that she does not limit herself based on profession or status.
“I dated a bus driver, I went on a date with a bus driver and there is nothing wrong with that. I have been on a date with a model, a footballer and so many others. With dating, you have to be open-minded, and I actually enjoyed dating,” she said.
Her comments have since generated reactions online, with many noting her shift toward valuing simplicity and privacy in relationships.
