2027: Tinubu doesn’t believe in one Nigeria, Peter Obi alleges
Former Anambra State Governor and 2027 presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu does not believe in the idea of one Nigeria.
Obi made the claim while discussing the state of the country and the political situation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said he believed in a united Nigeria where citizens would have equal opportunities regardless of their ethnic, religious or regional backgrounds.
According to Obi, Nigeria’s challenges require leaders who are committed to treating all parts of the country fairly and promoting national unity.
He also criticised what he described as the growing division along ethnic and regional lines, saying political leaders should work towards building trust among Nigerians.
Obi said his commitment to a united Nigeria remained firm, adding that he would continue to advocate for a country where citizens could identify with a common national purpose.
His remarks come amid preparations for the 2027 presidential election, with opposition politicians and political parties already positioning themselves for the contest.
