 AfroBasket 2021 Qualifiers: D’Tigers’ American Coach Arrives Kigali As Team Begins Camping

Coach of the Nigeria men’s Basketball team, Mike Brown has arrived the Kigali camp of the team as Nigeria prepares for the 2021 Afro FIBA qualifiers.

The American touched down in Kigali, the venue of the championship, on Saturday evening to begin close camping ahead of the qualifiers billed to begin on November 27, 2020.

The 50 year old coach who was accompanied by one of his assistants Kuester John, former Detroit Pistons Coach was received by the Nigeria Basketball Federation Vice President, Babs Ogunade.

The former Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors Coach has invited 20 foreign based players for the assignment of which the invited players are expected to start arriving Kigali today.

Nigeria will compete in group D alongside Mali and South Sudan.
