 Amotekun, herdsmen clash in Oyo, seven reported dead

The Oyo State Security Network Agency, known as Operation Amotekun have reportedly clashed with some herdsmen at Aiyete in the Ibarapa North Local Government Area, Oyo State.

The clash which was said to have started on Saturday morning at Okebi village is reported to have claimed seven lives.

The cause of the conflict was said to be unknown as at the time of the report.

Another report said the clash was between the Amotekun corps and Bororo people.

Commandant of Amotekun in Oyo State, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (retd), when contacted said he was on his way to the place to ascertain what happened, Punch Newspaper reported.
