Brazilian legend Ronaldinho tests positive for COVID-19

Legendary Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho announced he had contracted COVID-19 after receiving his test results on Sunday.

Ronaldinho had gotten his diagnosis upon arrival at Belo Horizonte, where he plays for Athletico Minerio.

“I arrived in BH (Belo Horizonte) yesterday (Saturday) and I took the COVID test, I tested positive, I am good, asymptomatic so far,” the two-time Ballon D’Or Winner said on Sunday.

The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player said he would enter mandatory self-isolation in a hotel pending an improvement in his health.

Ronaldinho, alongside his manager and brother, had done jail time in Paraguay earlier this year for entering the country with a fake passport.
