COVID-19: Nigeria records 118 fresh infections, total now 59,583

Nigeria has recorded 118 new cases of COVID-19, the National Centre for Disease Control announced on Tuesday night.
The NCDC revealed this in an update on Tuesday night. According to the agency, Lagos had the highest number of new COVID-19 cases with 14, with Rivers (19), Osun (17), and Nasarawa (13) following closely.
Other states that recorded new COVID-19 cases include Kaduna (5), Anambra (5), Edo (3), Ogun (3), Kwara (3), Ondo (3), Katsina (2), Niger (2), Plateau (1) and Akwa Ibom (1).
Presently, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country stands at 59,583 while the death toll is 1,113.
