“Shame on you!”— Wizkid blasts Buhari aide who called him “dumb kid”

Afrobeat artiste Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid on Tuesday night slammed Special Assistant on Social Media to the President, Lauretta Onochie, after she called him “dumb” in a tweet.
Onochie had on Tuesday described Wizkid as childish, ignorant and insensitive for criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari on his inaction concerning the SARS menace.
She said on Twitter: “Its not disrespectful to call anyone old. Its the way and manner Ayo Balogun addressed the President that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
“He exhibited crass ignorance, insensitivity and childishness. But hey, he’s a #DumbkidNotWhizKid.
“When he grows up, he might learn respect.”
However, Wizkid responded to Onochie’s criticism, saying she should be ashamed of her statement.
According to Wizkid, he has the right to demand for better governance in the country, as he is a father himself.
“Lol, a 77-year-old man is not young ma. You are a woman and a mother and kids are getting killed by police/SARS and this is all you have to say? Shame on you!! Shame on you!!,” Wizkid tweeted.
“I am a father and age has nothing to do with demanding for a better governance in my country.”
