The oil magnate and development expert disclosed that he has been in the political terrain since his post-secondary days and would make sure he judiciously use his experience to better improve Lagos infrastructure.

“I started my political career here in Agege in 1989, I contested for chairman of Ikeja local government under the then zero party as the youngest chairman, I have also contested for the house of representative and senate respectively. Now my people have called on me to contest the governorship seat and I have hearkened their calls, I believe I will be the next governor of Lagos,” he said.

Speaking further, Jim Kamal said he aspires to come and resolve multifaceted challenges confronting the state.

He said; “The problems confronting Lagos is multifaceted, when we come in we are going to tackle these problems headlong. We are bringing in automated free E-education at all levels. Our education system will be digitalised, our children we have tablets, in secondary school students will have laptops and also higher institutions. We are going to compete favourably with private schools because what we have in the private schools is a shamble, the residents will decide either to choose either public or private schools after we have transformed our schools. We are also going to have a full free E-health system for our people.”
