Oyetola wins APC Primaries With 222,169 Votes in Osun

Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for 2022 Osun State governorship election.
According to the result declared by the Chairman APC governorship primary election Committee and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq, Oyetola polled 222,169 votes to defeat two other aspirants: Alhaji Moshood Adeoti and Hon Lasun Yusuf.
The incumbent Governor who is also a member of the party Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee won in all the wards and 30 local government areas of Osun State.
Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, a former Secretary to the State Government and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s preferred aspirant garnered 12, 921 votes while Hon Lasun Yusuf secured 460 votes.
Oyetola will face PDP candidate and other flag bearers of other political parties on July 18 for the 2022 governorship election in Osun state.
