By Modupe Shodeinde

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) in it’s quarterly training for the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has trained 330 officials on basic live saving skills during emergencies.

The officials were trained on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and bleeding control.

LSSTF’s Executive Secretary Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun appealed for people to support the police officials in the discharge of their duties effectively.

The training according to Balogun is to ensure the officials, who are the first responders during emergencies, have the basic skills to save lives and stabilise victims before the arrival of medical officials.
