 Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 3:2 in Champions League thriller

Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 3:2 in the Champions League group stage match to maintain their perfect start in their group.

Salah opened the scoring very early in the first half, shortly after Naby Keita extended the lead with a beautiful strike. However, Griezmann pulled one back, and eventually scored the equalizer for Atletico Madrid.

Griezmann eventually collected a red card in the second half, and Salah converted a penalty later in the second half which gave Liverpool the lead and eventually proved to be the winner for Liverpool. Atletico Madrid was given a penalty by the referee in the closing stages of the game, but the penalty was eventually overturned after a VAR check.

Liverpool have maintained a great start to their season, and remain unbeaten across all competitions, their next test would be against Manchester United in the premier league on Sunday.
