Messi shines as PSG beat Leipzig

Messi scored a brace as PSG beat Leipzig 3:2 in a Champions League group stage clash.

Mbappe opened the scoring for PSG before Andre Silva equalized for Leipzig. Leipzig eventually took the lead and looked set to triumph in the clash before a defensive error allowed Mbappe to set up Messi for PSG’s equalizer.

Leipzig then conceded a penalty which Messi converted, Lepzig pushed for an equalizer, but PSG held on. The scoreline could have been more comfortable as Leipzig conceded another penalty which Mbappe skyed.

Messi has now scored three goals in the Champions League for PSG who sit on top of their Champions League group.
