 Exclusive: Man, 52, dies inside lover’s room in Sagamu

A 52-year-old man, Olalekan Bello has died in the Sabitu area of Sagamu. Olalekan who is popularly known in the area as Enunyunmi died in the early hours of Friday, November 12, 2021.

According to information, Olalekan died in the presence of his lover Aminat. Aminat and late Olalekan according to a source who pleaded anonymity has been in a secret relationship for a while.

The lovers were said to be having good times in an apartment which belongs to Aminat’s mother.

Our source also revealed it was not the first time Aminat who is married to another man with kids was spending the night with Olalekan.

Aminat’s Mother, Mrs. Taiwo who spoke exclusively to our reporter said she was not in town when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Meanwhile, she did not deny the secret relationship between the deceased and her daughter Aminat.

“I was not in town when the issue happened. He (Olalekan) always show interest in my daughter but, I always tell him he is somebody’s wife” Mrs. Taiwo said.

She, however, confirmed her knowledge of the affairs.

“It was later I got to know both of them were dating. That’s all I know, and my daughter also confirmed their affair when this incident happened,” she said.

Mrs. Taiwo runs a liquor drinking joint in the neighborhood. Her joint was notorious for harboring all sorts of notorious guys in the area.

Apart from dating Mrs. Taiwo’s daughter, Olalekan was a notable name and a regular visitor to the joint.

Meanwhile, the Oba of Ilupeju-Legusen area of Sagamu where the incident occurred, HRH, Oba Sikiru Adesola Bello immediately ordered the demolition of the joint.

The building has since been demolished on the order of the monarch. All efforts to reach Mrs. Aminat to give her side of the story proved abortive as her phone number was not reachable.

The case was not reported to the Police.
