Lagos police has launched a manhunt for one man, Ifeanyi Nwagboroga, who allegedly hacked his lover, Faith Ebubeeze, to death with a cutlass in the area of Oshodi, Lagos State.

According to gathered reports, there had been recent disagreement between the two live-in lovers after Nwagboroga reportedly requested a delay in their marriage plans, but Ebubeeze insisted that they marry without further delay or go their separate ways.

The suspect had reportedly agreed to the separation but demanded for a sum of N400,000 from the deceased, so he could move on.

The three-yearrelationship came to a tragic end on Tuesday, November 24, when Nwagboroga attacked the victim with a cutlass and fled the scene of the crime.

The deceased was confirmed dead on arrival at a private hospital within the community.
