One dead, 12 arrested in Aguda youths clash

One Munero, alleged to be a serial killer in Aguda area of Surulere, has reportedly been killed by irate youths during a clash between two groups of the youths while 12 suspects were arrested in connection with the fight by the Lagos State Police Command.
In a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police command said it has brought normalcy back to the area.
The statement read: “Arms and ammunition were recovered from the suspects who are helping the police in their investigation.
“Munero is alleged to be a serial killer in the area and was lynched by irate youths.
“We have restored normalcy to the area.”
Adejobi also said the State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had deployed additional men to the area under the supervision of the “Area C“ Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Fatai Tijani.
“We will still arrest more as we continue our investigation into the matter,” Adejobi said.
