The Oodua People’s Congress has assured the government of it’s assistance in recovering looted goods in Osun State on Thursday.
The leadership of OPC in Osun state, Prince Adedeji Aladesawe, who condemned the hoodlums for hijacking the peaceful EndSARS protest to perpetrate violence in the state, said the group would apprehend hoodlums in hiding and hand them over to the police.
“It is sad that the raging crisis also affected our traditional heritage and institutions. We are assuring government of our readiness to recover all the looted items.
“We are using our knowledge of all parts of the state in achieving this. We are also going to support the police and other security agencies to ensure peace in the state.” he said
The Osun state coordinator, however, commended the youths for using the protest to pass across their message on police reform and social justice to the government.
